  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar, for topping
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract, then alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the batter.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  6. Mix the sugar and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack.
