  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and set aside.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add peeled and chopped sweet potatoes, broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer until sweet potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  5. Blend the soup until smooth, then stir in heavy cream.
  6. Serve hot, crumbled turkey bacon, and fresh basil on top.
