A delicious and indulgent take on traditional Samoas cookies, this pie combines the classic flavors in a decadent dessert.

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until combined.
  6. Press the dough into a pie pan evenly.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  9. Spread caramel sauce over the crust.
  10. Top with shredded coconut and melted chocolate chips.
  11. Chill in the refrigerator until set, then slice and serve.
