  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 cup gingerbread spice mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and gingerbread spice mix.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and then combine with the molasses and melted butter.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry mixture until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before rolling it into a log shape.
  8. For the frosting, mix the powdered sugar with milk until smooth and spread it over the cake.
