  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and melted butter to the mixture. Stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 30 minutes.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces.
  6. Shape the pieces into balls and place them in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover and let rise for another 15 minutes.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
