A flavorful take on traditional stroganoff, this Blackened Shrimp Stroganoff brings spice and warmth to your dinner table.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons blackening seasoning
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the shrimp with blackening seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they are cooked through and blackened. Remove and set aside.
  5. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  6. Add mushrooms and cook until softened.
  7. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  8. Gradually add chicken broth and cream, stirring until thickened.
  9. Add spinach and cooked shrimp back to the skillet; mix until well combined.
  10. Serve over cooked egg noodles and enjoy!

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • Adjust the heat level by varying the amount of blackening seasoning used.
